Giulia Clotilde Rota

Graduated in Architecture in 1971, after a few years of training in professional studies, she started working in Public Administration where she has developed her own professional experience mostly in urban and territorial planning.

A manager of the Regional Administration since 1992, she has directed numerous regional departments, acquiring competences in different field like transports, social housing, environmental impact assessment, programming and management of financing projects, cooperation between institutions and stakeholders.

From July 2000 to June 2006 she has directed the Regional Ddepartment for urban and territorial planning, working on the appraisal of the Strategic Plans and the Local Plans of the different municipalities. She also wrote the guiding lines used for the planning of the public services.

She has also participated to the technical workgroup in charge of writing the new regional law for the government of territory (L.R. 12/05).

Currently she is directing the Department of the Regional Agency for Industry, SMEs and Cooperation in charge of development and competitiveness of the enterprises and financing research & development projects, that are finalized to promote the innovation of products, processes and services. She is also taking care of the promotion of cooperation and aggregation between enterprises in the same strategic productive fields.
