Dr. Arnis Sauka

Arnis Sauka is a lecturer in Entrepreneurship and a research fellow at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, TeliaSonera Institute. Currently he teaches Entrepreneurship and is actively involved in various international projects concerned with entrepreneurship research. His research findings have been published in a number of peer reviewed books and journals and presented at numerous European and North American conferences.
Research interests of Arnis Sauka include productive and unproductive entrepreneurship; reativity and entrepreneurship; location patterns of entrepreneurs; business start-ups, growth and exits; entrepreneurship policy making; entrepreneurship in transition context.
At the beginning of 2008 Arnis Sauka earned a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Siegen (Germany). Prior to that, Arnis was a visiting PhD candidate at Jönköping International Business School (Sweden) and a teaching fellow at SSEES/University College London (U.K.). He is also owner of small business and has had extensive practical experience in business management and consultancy, including working as a senior consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
